HEY HEY HEY - Support your local artists okay!!!  Stumbled across this gem on a random day...Wishing for the day I run into her angelic tone waiting on the train 😩

Of all the places I practice...the subway remains my favorite. Here's my cover of "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse.

Around here we like to highlight quality talent that may not get mainstream recognition.  Tuesday's are #UndergroundTuesday in UC Land - and what better way to highlight underground talent than showcasing a dope Subway Performer!!

Najah's voice is like butta....So classic, with such a rich tone and a great jazzy quality!  Full of life and color - she switches so effortlessly from her full round voice to her light, ethereal falsetto!  I also just LOOOVE the way she takes liberties with scale and melody.  She's definitely not afraid to play with rhythm - oh and did I mention she plays guitar!

Just wanted to share a few of her videos to bless ya ear drums - don't be afraid to share her gifts with whoever you know!  Hopefully we can push her career forward TOGETHER!!  

Najah is currently working on her EP and new single.  I'd definitely listen to her album.  How bout chu??
